The Brooklyn Nets pay a visit to the Golden State Warriors on TNT NBA Thursday.
The Brooklyn Nets had four of five and looked set to win a third straight after leading the Suns by 63-49 at halftime and as many as 19 points last night. Unfortunately, the Nets just couldn't hold onto the lead once the Suns pushed the pace in the second half and they got absolutely run out of the building in a 112-104 loss. On offense, the Nets were as good as ever as Joe Johnson led six players in double figures in scoring with his 21 points but defensively, no one could do anything to stop the Suns' Isaiah Thomas and Gerald Green who lit them up for a combined 49 points. With the loss, Brooklyn fall to 4-3 on the season and 1-2 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors started the season with five straight wins but have since lost two straight including a 113-100 loss at home against the Spurs on Tuesday. Klay Thompson scored a game-high 29 points with five threes while Harrison Barnes added 22 points, but Stephen Curry went none for seven from the three point line to finish with just 16 points as the Warriors lost by 113-100. Yes, a few threes from Curry would have been nice for the Warriors, but the second unit was outscored by the Spurs' reserves by 40-20 and the Spurs actually had 23 more shot attempts because of the disparity in turnovers and offensive rebounds.
In ATS trends, the Nets are 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a loss and 0-5 ATS in their last five games playing on no days rest, while the Warriors are 9-1-1 ATS in their last 11 games following a double digit loss at home and 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games overall.
Head to head, the Nets are 1-5 ATS int he last six meetings in Golden State and the Home team is 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings overall.
I was actually leaning towards the Nets when I first saw the line for this game, but the ATS trends don't lie. All the signs are suggesting that the Nets are poor on the second night of back to back sets and the Warriors are dominant after big losses at home, so let's just go with the flow. Warriors by double digits.
