The Miami Heat will be looking to snap a three-game skid tonight when they visit the Brooklyn Nets.

The Miami Heat started the season winning five of their first seven games, but have since lost three straight including a surprising 91-84 loss agt home against the Bucks last night. Mario Chalmers led six players in double figures with 18 points as the Heat looked in control after leading 46-38 going into halftime, but they just fell apart in the second half, scoring just 38 points with just 13 in the third quarter. Chris Bosh finished the game with season-worst figures of just 10 points on two of 17 shooting, including three straight missed free throws late in the game. With the loss, Miami falls to 5-5 overall and 3-3 at home.

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets won four of their first six games but are also coming off a third straight loss after falling to the Trailblazers by 97-87 on Saturday. Brook Lopez scored a team-high 21 points, Joe Johnson added 20 and Deron Williams had 19, but the Nets still couldn't take advantage of a Blazers team missing two of their best players in LaMarcus Aldridge and Nicolas Batum. This was definitely a game that the Nets needed to win if they wanted to be considered as true contenders, but they were just a step slower than the Blazers across the board and found themselves playing catchup from start to finish. With the loss, Brooklyn falls to 4-5 on the season and just 1-4 on the road.

In ATS trends, the Heat are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall and 1-5 ATS in their last six games following a loss, while the Nets are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games following a loss and 2-7 ATS in their last nine games against the Eastern Conference.

TI'm definitely looking for the Nets to snap out of their funk and get the win at home and in the process cover this agressive number.
