The upstart Milwaukee Bucks look to stay hot tonight when they take on the Brooklyn Nets.
The Milwaukee Bucks started the season winning just two of their first six games, but have since gone on to win four of their last five outings, including a 117-113 thriller against the Knicks last night. With a balanced offense that had seven players finish in double figures, the Bucks poured in a season-high 66 points in the first half to open a 17-point lead before clinging on for a narrow win in last minutes of the game. Ersan Ilyasova led the scoring with a quick-fire 20 points in just 20 minutes off the bench, while Brandon Knight and Zaza Pachulia added 14 points each. With the win, Milwaukee improves to a surprising 6-5 on the season and 4-1 at home.

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets started the season with four wins in their first six games but are now looking down the barrel of a possible fifth straight loss after falling to the Heat by 95-83 on Monday. Bojan Bogdanovic led the team in scoring with 22 points while Deron Williams added 14 points and seven assists, but the Nets just lost their intensity in a disappointing 57-40 second half. With the loss, Brooklyn falls to 4-6 on the season and 3-2 at home, but what makes the loss more worrying for the Nets was that they got dominated by Mario Chalmers, not Chris Bosh or Dwyane Wade.
In ATS trends, the Bucks are 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall and 7-19 ATS in their last 26 games following a win, while the Nets are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall and 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games at home.
Head to head, the Bucks are a dominant 8-1 ATS in their last nine meetings in Brooklyn but 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings overall.
I know the Bucks just played last night so fatigue may be a factor, but they've really been playing some impressive basketball and should have enough to push the disappointing Nets and at least stay within the number.
