The Chicago Bulls are battling through another season of injuries but like the pas they continue to win and are 8-4 this season. The Bulls are averaging 101.2 points and they are shooting 46.6 percent from the floor while defensively they are allowing 97.6 points and their opponents are shooting 43.6 percent. Jimmy Butler leads the Bulls averaging 21.5 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. Pau Gasol is averaging 18.6 points and 10.6 rebounds, Derrick Rose is averaging 18 points and 5.4 assists, and Taj Gibson is averaging 12.9 points and 5.9 rebounds. Once again Gasol and Rose are questionable for this one after they have missed the past two games.
Portland is 7-1 against the spread in their last eight games, 5-1 against the spread in their last six home games, and 3-8 against the spread against a team with a winning record. Chicago is 9-3-1 against the spread following a loss of 10 or more points, 9-4 against the spread playing in no rest, and 3-8 against the spread against a team with a winning record. Chicago is 1-5 against the spread in their last six games against Portland.
The Bulls always play best when it is least expected and most write them off but they are up against it here and my play is the Blazers.
