We’ve got a pretty good lineup of games on tap for this NBA weekend, and they’ll begin tipping off at 7:00 PM ET this evening. While we’re getting settled in and waiting on game time, let’s check out some of the notable players and storylines out there in the league. Here’s the latest.

Magic-Hornets: Those Magic fans who turned the game off when Charlotte was up 23 points last night missed out on the third-largest (tied) comeback in franchise history. Orlando shot 71.4 percent in the final quarter, outscoring the Hornets 41-21 for an epic 105-100 victory that saw them down 23 in the third quarter.
Evan Fournier posted 21 points, while Tobias Harris added 17 more with 16 rebounds for a double-double.

Grizzlies-Celtics: The Grizzlies’ record stands intact--they posted their 21st straight regular season victory at home last night, taking a 117-100 win over the Celtics.
Marc Gasol tied a career-high in points with 32, while Zach Randolph hit 16 in both points and rebounds.
Jon Leuer made a big impact as well, posting 19 points in a season-high effort.
The numbers tell the story here, as the Grizzlies won the rebound battle 50-38, and crushed Boston in the paint 66-38.

Cavaliers-Wizards: Though Cleveland has shown some flashes of brilliance this year, they’re still finding their chemistry as a team. They went the final nine minutes with no field goals against the Wizards, allowing Washington to roll away with a 91-78 win in their home.
John Wall had 28 points, seven assists and six rebounds in a game that Cleveland coughed it up 19 times.
As for LeBron James, he had 22 points on 8-of-21 shooting. The Cavs are now 5-6.

Mavericks-Lakers: If you like huge points totals (and you’re not a Lakers fan), this was the game for you last night. The Mavericks crushed L.A. 140-106, which was their highest points total in over five years.
Dirk Nowitzki scored 23 but sat out the whole fourth quarter in what was the Mavs’ sixth straight victory. Included with Monta Ellis and Chandler Parsons, the trio went 23-of-33 on field goals.
