The Houston Rockets travel to the Bradley Center to take on the Milwaukee Bucks tonight.
The Houston Rockets have started the season red-hot and raced their way to 12-3 after just five games, but will still be licking their wounds after getting thrashed by the Clippers 102-85 last night. James Harden scored just 16 points and Trevor Ariza just 13 as the Rockets looked completely outmatched against the Clippers. Yes, the Rockets were without Dwight Howard for the fifth straight game, but they were able to win their previous four games without him, albeit against lesser competition. Now, the team will be sweating on the availability of their superstar center as they hope to avoid back to back losses for the second time this season.

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks are coming off their eighth win in 11 games and their third straight overall after cruising past the Pistons by 104-88 last night. In a bizarre night, Ersan Ilyasova led the way with 22 points and Jared Dudley added 16 as the Bucks' bench combined for 69 points compared to the starters who didn't have anyone score more than eight. With John Henson and Zaza Pachulia both out with injuries, the Bucks had to resort more to their smaller lineups and it paid off big against the less agile Pistons frontcourt, but they will be sweating on the availability of those two players tonight against the shorthanded Rockets.
In ATS trends, the Rockets are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games against a team with a winning record and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games, while the Bucks are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games and 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games overall.
Head to head, the Rockets are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall but the Underdog is 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings as well.
Milwaukee is red hot while the Rockets have cooled off and I see the Bucks getting the win and with the modest number they cover the spread.
