The Detroit PIstons have the tough task of hosting the Golden State Warriors on Sunday at the Palace.
The Detroit Pistons were picked to be the bottom feeders of the league heading into the season, and...they are. Detroit is just 3-13 on the season right now, and sitting in the bottom of the Central division. Detroit is playing well defensively, something you usually would expect from a Detroit team, but the offense has just been horrible this season, putting up just 91.9 points per game. The Pistons have dropped seven straight heading into this meeting, with their latest loss coming on Friday against the Bucks at home, where the PIstons fell 104-88.

The Golden State Warriors are among the top teams in the league, and I know a lot of handicappers have the Warriors atop their NBA power rankings right now. The Warriors have a very impressive record of 13-2 this season. Even with a record that strong, the Warriors are just 2.5 games up on on the Clippers and just four games up on the Suns in the Pacific, as this division could make for one of the better races down the stretch. Golden State has won eight out of their last ten games heading into this meeting with the Pistons, with their last victory coming on Friday against the Hornets in Charlotte, 106-101.
The line is still out on this game. When the number is released, I will update this article with my free pick, so please be sure to check back.
