The Line: Sacramento Kings -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
James Harden and the Houston Rockets take on the Sacramento Kings tonight.
The Houston Rockets have won seven of their last nine and were going for a fifth straight win last night before they ran into the Warriors who blew them away late for a 105-93 win. James Harden had a monster game of 34 points on 14 of 27 shooting, while Trevor Ariza and Donatas Motiejunas added 18 points each, but when the game reached the fourth quarter, it was the Warriors who dominated 32-17 to take out the win. Dwight Howard missed his tenth straight game with a strained right knee injury and doesn't have a timetable for his return and undrafted rookie Tarik Black will remain in the starting centre position until Howard comes back. Houston is now 16-5 on the season and 8-2 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have struggled in their last seven games without DeMarcus Cousins, losing five of seven including a disappointing 98-95 loss against the struggling Lakers on Tuesday. Darren Collison led the Kings with 26 points while Rudy Gay added 23, but the Kings just couldn't hold off Kobe Bryant who led the Lakers on a late charge in the fourth quarter with his 32 points. With the loss, Sacramento drop to 11-11 overall and 5-6 on the road where they've lost their last three straight. In injury news, Cousins could make his return by this weekend but he is listed as questionable for tonight's game against the Rockets.
In ATS trends, the Rockets are 5-1 ATS in their last six games following a loss and 1-4 ATS in their last five road games, while the Kings are 15-6-1 ATS in their last 22 games following a loss and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games.
Head to head, the Rockets are 12-4 ATS in the last 16 meetings overall and 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings in Sacramento.
The line has finally been released and it is the Rockets who are favored by one point which is too much value for me to pass on against a shorthanded Kings team.
