The Memphis Grizzlies and Philadelphia 76ers play Saturday night at the Wells Fargo Center.
The Memphis Grizzlies have won eight of their last 10 games and play their second road contest of the month. On the season, the Grizzlies are averaging 101 points on 47.2 percent shooting and are allowing 94 points on 43.9 percent shooting. Marc Gasol leads Memphis with 19.5 points and eight rebounds while Mike Conley is averaging 16.9 points and 6.1 assists. Zach Randolph is grabbing 11 rebounds per game and Courtney Lee is shooting 52.6 percent from the field. The Memphis Grizzlies have the best defense in the league but it’s been their offense that’s made the difference during this stretch. The Grizzlies are shooting 50.4 percent from the field and have topped 100 points in seven of their last 10 games. If the Grizzlies can keep up that offensive production they’re a championship contender.

The Philadelphia 76ers return home after a three-game road trip and have lost three of their last four games. On the season, the 76ers are averaging 91.3 points on 41.4 percent shooting and are allowing 103.6 points on 46 percent shooting. Tony Wroten leads the 76ers with 17.9 points and 6.3 assists while Michael Carter-Williams is averaging 15.7 points and 7.3 rebounds. Alexey Shved is shooting 40.5 percent from the field and K.J. McDaniels is grabbing four rebounds per game. The Philadelphia 76ers are bad on both sides of the ball obviously, but their offense is shooting just 29.5 percent from deep in their last five games and has produced a combined 149 points in their last two contests. Ladies and gentlemen, this team is god awful.
The Grizzlies are 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 Saturday games and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The 76ers are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games playing on 0 days rest and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games. The Grizzlies are 5-0 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Philadelphia and 6-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings overall.
With the way the 76ers have struggled to put the ball in the hoop, it's going to be even tougher against the best defense in the league. However, the 76ers are doing a solid job of covering the number and are catching the Grizzlies on a back-to-back. I'll take the double-digit cushion here.
