The Los Angeles Clippers play host to the Milwaukee Bucks tonight at the STAPLES Center.
The Los Angeles Clippers have lost three of five since their nine-game win streak and were beaten by 109-106 last night at Denver. In a real see-saw type of match, the Clippers fell behind by 16 points at the half before flipping the game on its head with a 31-12 third quarter. However, they just couldn't keep it going in the fourth quarter, allowing the Nuggets to pour in 38 points to steal the win. Blake Griffin led the scoring with 32 points, Chris Paul added 17 points and 15 assists while Matt Barnes added 16 points, but the Clippers shot a terrible 3 for 18 from the 3-point line compared to the Nuggets who made 11 of their 29. Still, despite the loss, LA is still a healthy 18-8 on the season and 8-5 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks have won three of their last four and are coming off a 108-107 win over the Kings thanks to 20 points from Brandon Knight and 19 points apiece from OJ Mayo and Jared Dudley. Defensively, the Bucks could do little to stop DeMarcus Cousins who poured in 27 points on eight of 12 shooting, but they got the stop when they needed it most as Cousins missed on the potential game-winner at the buzzer. With the win, Milwaukee improves to 14-13 overall and 7-9 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Bucks are 4-0 ATS in the last four games overall and 6-2 ATS in their last eight road games, while the Clippers are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games against a team with a losing road record and 5-12 ATS in their last 17 home games.
Head to head, the Bucks are 3-8-1 ATS in the last 12 meetings in Los Angeles and the Over in 5-1 in Clippers last six against a team above .500.
The last time these two teams played was just a week ago and it was the Bucks who won by 111-106 on the back of 20 points from Giannis Antetokounmpo and 22 points from Brandon Knight. I expect the Clippers to exact some revenge and win this one at home, but I have to think that the Bucks will be good enough to keep this game to 10 points or less, surely.
