The Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards play Tuesday night at the Verizon Center.
The Chicago Bulls have won six of their last seven games and play their fifth road game of the month. On the season, the Bulls are averaging 102.2 points on 45.4 percent shooting and are allowing 98.4 points on 43.3 percent shooting. Jimmy Butler is averaging 21.9 points and six rebounds while Pau Gasol is averaging 18.2 points and 11.7 rebounds. Derrick Rose is dishing out 5.1 assists and Taj Gibson is shooting 53 percent from the field. Despite allowing 120 points in Monday’s win over the Raptors, the Chicago Bulls are flexing their muscle defensively, holding five of their last seven opponents under 100 points and allowing 42.6 percent shooting in their last five games. The Bulls have been road warriors, as 12 of their 18 wins this season have come away from home.

The Washington Wizards have won six of their last seven games and are emerging as a true East contender. On the season, the Wizards are averaging 100.8 points on 47.1 percent shooting and are allowing 97.1 points on 43.6 percent shooting. John Wall is averaging 17.8 points and 10.5 assists while Bradley Beal is averaging 15.1 points and three assists. Paul Pierce is shooting 43.5 percent from the field and Marcin Gortat is averaging 8.2 rebounds. The Washington Wizards are an impressive 13-3 SU on their home court, which includes wins in eight of their last nine contests. The Wizards continue to play quality offense, as they’re shooting 39.2 percent from beyond the arc in their last five games. The Wizards have also beaten the Bulls in four of the last five meetings.
The Bulls are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 vs. NBA Southeast and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games. The Wizards are 17-8 ATS in their last 25 games playing on 1 days rest and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Bulls are 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Washington and 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings overall.
The Bulls and the free points seems to be the play, but the Wizards beat up the Bulls all of last season and are an even better team this season. Washington is the more balanced club and has been money at home all year. I'll take my chances with the Wizards and the reasonable chalk.
