The Line: San Antonio Spurs -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

James Harden and the Houston Rockets hit the road to take on the San Antonio Spurs tonight.

The Houston Rockets have won nine of their last 12 games overall and are coming off a dramatic 117-111 overtime victory over the Grizzlies thanks to 32 points and 10 assists from James Harden, 15 points from Trevor Ariza and 21 points from the new recruit, Josh Smith who made plenty of nice plays while also taking a team-high 21 shot attempts. Coach McHale says that the role for Smith is unclear in the long-term, but with Terrence Jones expected to be out for at least another month, Smith is expected to play extended minutes in the interim. With the win, Houston lifts to 21-7 overall and a dominant 11-2 on the road.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Houston Rockets - 12/28/14 NBA Pick, Odds, and Prediction

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs continued their recent struggles with their sixth loss in seven outings after falling to the Pelicans by 97-90 on Friday. Tim Duncan had a nice double-double of 20 points, 11 rebounds and four assists, while Cory Joseph added 20 points on 8 of 9 shooting, but the shorthanded Spurs just didn't look like themselves, losing the battle of the boards, committing turnovers and not getting to the free throw line. It's hard to get too hard on them because you know exactly where they'll be come the business end of the season, but at the moment they're just struggling to keep find consistency with key players missing.

In ATS trends, the Rockets are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall and 11-5 ATS in their last 16 road games, while the Spurs are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following a loss and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games.

Head to head, the Rockets are 7-0 ATS in the last seven meetings and the Under is 5-2 in the last seven meetings in San Antonio.

This one should be a close one, but the Spurs have been seriously struggling for a while now and I don't even know if they should be favorites in this one.
