The San Antonio Spurs and Memphis Grizzlies square off Tuesday night at the FedExForum.

The San Antonio Spurs have lost six of their last eight games and continue to deal with injuries. On the season, the Spurs are averaging 102.8 points on 46.7 percent shooting and are allowing 98.9 points on 44.4 percent shooting. Tim Duncan is averaging 16.1 points and 10.7 rebounds while Manu Ginobili is averaging 12.9 points and 5.1 assists. Danny Green is shooting 45.1 percent from the field and Boris Diaw is grabbing 4.9 rebounds. The San Antonio Spurs are struggling most on the defensive end, as they’re allowing teams to 40 percent from downtown in their last five games. The Spurs have lost six of their last eight games when allowing 100 or more points. Tony Parker and Kawhi Leonard are expected to miss this game with injuries.

The Memphis Grizzlies are also struggling as they’ve lost four of their last five games. On the season, the Grizzlies are averaging 102.3 points on 46.3 percent shooting and are allowing 97.6 points on 44.6 percent shooting. Marc Gasol is averaging 20.2 points and 8.2 rebounds while Mike Conley is averaging 17.9 points and six assists. Courtney Lee is shooting 50 percent from the field and Tony Allen is grabbing four rebounds. The Memphis Grizzlies, usually the best defensive team in the league, are allowing teams to shoot 49.1 percent from the field and 40.7 percent from deep in their last five games. The questionable defensive performances is the reason the Grizzlies are going through their worst stretch of the season. Zach Randolph is expected to miss this game with a knee injury.

The Spurs are 19-8 ATS in their last 27 games playing on 1 days rest and 4-12 ATS in their last 16 vs. NBA Southwest. The Grizzlies are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Tuesday games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games. The Spurs are 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings in Memphis and 9-3 ATS in the last 12 meetings overall.

I usually always take the Spurs whenever they're getting plus points due the fact it doesn't happen very often. With both teams struggling, I have to take the Spurs and the free basket. I just don't trust the Grizzlies with the way they've been playing the last week or so.. We know what we're getting with the Spurs injuries or not.
