The struggling Minnesota Timberwolves travel to Salt Lake city to take on the Utah Jazz tonight.
The Minnesota Timberwolves have lost 14 of their last 15 games overall and will be looking to snap a eight-game skid tonight after getting routed by the Warriors 110-97 on Saturday. Thaddeus Young had 17 points on 7 of 11 shooting while Zach LaVine added 12 points and a career-high 14 assists but the Warriors just had too much class with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson combining for 46 points. Early in the fourth quarter the Warriors were actually up by 27 points, so this game was actually a lot more one-sided than the final score suggests. With the loss, Minnesota drops to 5-24 on the season, just slightly better than Philadelphia who is at 4-25 on the season.

Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz have been going through a nice patch of form lately with four wins in their last six outings, but a narrow 101-97 loss against the Clippers last night spoiled the party. Gordon Hayward led the way with 22 points and seven assists, Enes Kanter added 16 points and Derrick Favors had 15 points, but the Jazz just couldn't find their rhythm on offense, finishing with just 41.3 percent from the field and 59.1 percent from the free throw line. The Jazz did grab 18 offensive boards which kept them close, but in the end the Clippers just had too much class. Utah is now 10-21 overall and 5-12 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Timberwolves are 6-15 ATS in their last 21 games following a loss and 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 road games, while the Jazz are 5-0 ATS in their last five games following a loss but 7-1 ATS in their last eight games overall.
Head to head, the Road team is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings overall and the Over is 14-3 in the last 17 meetings in Utah.
Usually, I wouldn't be too excited about the Jazz at all but they've been playing some decent basketball, have beaten some decent teams lately and were pretty competitive against the Clippers last night, so I'll take them over the toothless Wolves for sure.
