The Sacramento Kings and Boston Celtics square off Wednesday afternoon at the TD Garden.
The Sacramento Kings have lost eight of their last 10 games and play just their fourth road game of the month. On the season, the Kings are averaging 102.5 points on 46.1 percent shooting and are allowing 104 points on 44.7 percent shooting. DeMarcus Cousins is averaging 24.7 points and 12.3 rebounds while Rudy Gay is averaging 21.2 points and 4.6 assists. Darren Collison is producing six assists and Ben McLemore is shooting 47.6 percent from the field. The Sacramento Kings continue to score points in boatloads, as they’re shooting 48.7 percent from the field and 40.6 percent from deep in their last five games. The problem is that the Kings aren’t getting it done on the defensive end, and they’ve lost seven of their last nine games when allowing 100-plus points.

The Boston Celtics have lost four straight games and are in 100 percent tank mode. On the season, the Celtics are averaging 103.2 points on 46 percent shooting and are allowing 104.4 points on 44.9 percent shooting. Jeff Green is averaging 18.9 points and 4.3 rebounds while Avery Bradley is averaging 12.4 points on 42.5 percent shooting. Kelly Olynyk is grabbing 5.7 rebounds and Tyler Zeller is averaging 5.5 rebounds. The Boston Celtics offense has really dropped since the trade of Rajon Rondo, as they’re averaging just 97.6 points in their last five games and have scored less than 100 points in five of their last nine games. Seven of the Celtics 10 wins have come at home. Jared Sullinger is questionable for this game with an ankle injury.
The Kings are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games playing on 1 days rest and 3-12-2 ATS in their last 17 games overall. The Celtics are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 home games and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Kings are 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Boston and the home team is 6-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings.
I don't like the way either of these teams are playing but I'll take a shot with the home team in a pick em.. However, the best bet may be avoiding this game altogether.
