The Brooklyn Nets travel to South Beach to take on the Miami Heat tonight.
The Brooklyn Nets have won six of their last seven overall and will be looking for a fourth straight win tonight after sneaking past the Magic by 100-98 on Friday. Mason Plumlee had 18 points and nine rebounds while Brook Lopez and Deron Williams added 16 points each as the Nets nearly squandered a 26-point lead. It certainly wasn't the tidiest of wins, but the win lifts the Nets back to .500 with a record of 16-16 and 6-1 with Jarett Jack starting in place of D-Will at the point guard position.

Meanwhile, the Miami Heat continued their recent struggles with a fourth straight loss, falling to the Rockets by 115-79 last night. Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh finished the game with just 15 points each as the Heat got out to a strong start, but just couldn't slow the Rockets down once they lifted off in the second quarter. In fact, the Heat were outscored by an amazing 71-33 in the second and third quarters combined. With the loss, they drop to 14-20 overall and 8-8 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Nets are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall and 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games against a team with a losing record, while the Heat are 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a loss of more than 10 points and 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall.
Head to head, the Nets are 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings overall but the Road team is a perfect 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings.
You definitely expect the Heat to bounce back after such a terrible loss, but I'm really liking the Nets who have been piling up the wins lately. I'm not too high on this game in general, but the Nets are certainly in much better form than the Heat.
