The Phoenix Suns play host to the Toronto Raptors tonight at the US Airways Center.
The Toronto Raptors have been one of the best teams all season with eight wins in their last 11 outings, but they're suddenly looking at a possible third straight loss after falling to the Trailblazers and the Warriors in succession. On Friday against the Warriors, Kyle Lowry had 22 points, Greivis Vasquez added 25 while Louis Williams had 20, but it wasn't nearly enough to keep up with the Warriors who just blew them away in a 126-105 rout. The Raptors just allowed the Warriors to pour on 40 points in the first quarter which left them playing catchup all night. With the loss, Toronto falls out of the top spot in the Eastern Conference with a 24-9 overall record.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns were able to put a halt to a two-game skid on Friday by taking down the 76ers in a 112-96 victory. Markieff Morris had 21 points in just 22 minutes while Eric Bledsoe added 17 points and eight assists, but the Suns didn't really have the game in hand until late when Gerald Green took over the game off the bench and poured in 21 points. In the end, the Suns probably should have won that game by much more, but they'll take whatever they can to improve to 19-16 overall which leaves them at eighth in the crowded Western Conference standings.
In ATS trends the Raptors are 23-9-2 ATS in their last 34 games following a loss and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record, while the Suns are 8-1 ATS in their last nine games overall and 7-2 ATS in their last nine games against a team with a winning record.
Head to head, the Raptors are 4-9-1 ATS in the last 14 meetings but the Road team is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings.
I'm expecting both teams to score more than 100 points in this game, but I'm liking the Raptors to come out with the victory and cover in this one.
