The Orlando Magic and Denver Nuggets square off Wednesday night at the Pepsi Center.
The Orlando Magic have lost four of their last six games and begin a four-game road trip. On the season, the Magic are averaging 93.9 points on 45.4 percent shooting and are allowing 99.3 points on 46 percent shooting. Tobias Harris is averaging 18.3 points and seven rebounds while Nikola Vucevic is averaging 17.9 points and 11 rebounds. Victor Oladipo is dishing out 3.9 assists and Evan Fournier is shooting 42.8 percent from the field. The Orlando Magic are struggling on the defensive end, as they’re allowing teams to shoot 48.1 percent from the field and 37.4 percent from deep in their last five games. The good news for the Magic is that nine of their 13 wins have come on the road. Channing Frye is questionable for this game with an injury.

The Denver Nuggets are trying to find their groove after splitting their last 10 games. On the season, the Nuggets are averaging 102.1 points on 43.5 percent shooting and are allowing 103.9 points on 44.7 percent shooting. Ty Lawson is averaging 16.3 points and 10.2 assists while Arron Afflalo is averaging 15.3 points and 3.4 rebounds. Wilson Chandler is shooting 41.7 percent from the field and Kenneth Faried is grabbing 8.4 rebounds. The Denver Nuggets just can’t string together consistent wins due to allowing 100-plus points in nine of their last 11 games and allowing teams to shoot 43.9 percent from deep in their last five games. The Nuggets will remain a subpar team as long as they take plays off defensively. Nate Robinson is questionable for this game with a wrist injury.
The Magic are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. NBA Northwest and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 Wednesday games. The Nuggets are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and 9-4-1 ATS in their last 14 games playing on 1 days rest. The Magic are 2-9 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Denver and 2-8-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings overall.
For whatever reason, the Magic are a much better road team than they are at home. With both teams so up-and-down, I'll take the points here.
