The Houston Rockets travel to Madison Square Garden to take on the New York Knicks tonight.
The Houston Rockets have won three of their last five overall and are coming off a 105-93 win over the shorthanded Cavaliers. Last night, James Harden flirted with a triple double of 21 points, seven rebounds and nine assists while Dwight Howard added 17 points and 19 rebounds as the Rockets took full advantage of the Cavs who were playing without LeBron James. Defensively, the Rockets really couldn't do a whole lot to slow down Kyrie Irving who scorched them for 38 points, but they managed to keep a lid on everyone else and keep the Cavs to 41.5 percent shooting from the field.

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks are coming off a 13th straight loss after falling to the Wizards by 101-91 last night. Jose Calderon led the scoring with 17 points while Jason Smith added 13 off the bench, but if it weren't for a late barrage of threes, this game would have been lost by at least 20 points. Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudemire were both missing for this game while JR Smith and Iman Shumpert were both traded to the Cavaliers, so it really was a great effort to lose by just 10 to the Wizards last night.
In ATS trends, the Rockets are 5-0 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 2-5 ATS in hteir last seven games against a team below .400, while the Knicks are 0-5 ATS in their last five home games and 0-6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall.
Head to head, the Rockets are 12-3 ATS in the last 15 meetings overall and a perfect 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings in New York.
The Knicks showed plenty of fight in last night's loss to the Wizards but they could have and probably should have been blown out by around 20 points. The Rockets are much more adept at blowing teams away and I think that happens tonight against one of the worst teams in the league.
