The Denver Nuggets travel to the Sleep Train Arena to take on the Sacramento Kings tonight.
The Denver Nuggets have lost five of their last nine overall but are suddenly on a three-game winning streak after sneaking past the Magic by 93-90 on Wednesday. Ty Lawson led the scoring with 23 points while Arron Afflalo added 17 points against his former team as the Nuggets won in an ugly game where they didn't play at their best. As a team, the Nuggets committed 21 turnovers and didn't look at all sharp on offense but Nate Robinson sparked the Nuggets with 13 points off the bench in the final period which was the difference in the end. With the win, Denver improved to 16-20 overall and 11-8 at home.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have lost 10 of their last 14 overall but are coming off one of their biggest wins of the season, beating the Thunder by 104-83 on Wednesday. Rudy Gay led the scoring with 28 points while DeMarcus Cousins added 23 points and 15 rebounds, but the biggest performance of the night for me was the play of Darren Collison who made five threes en route to 24 points with seven assists. However, as impressive as those numbers are, the Kings were even better on defense as the held the Thunder to just 32.6 percent including Russell Westbrook to three of 19 shooting with seven turnovers. With the win, Sacramento improved to 15-20 overall and 9-10 at home.
In ATS trends, the Nuggets are 18-38-2 ATS in their last 58 games against a team with a losing record and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 road games, while the Kings are 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a win of more than 10 points and 1-5-2 ATS in their last eight home games.
Head to head, the Nuggets are 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings in Sacramento and the Over is 8-3 in the last 11 meetings overall.
The Nuggets actually have a decent record against the Kings but I love the way Cousins, Gay and Collison played against the Thunder in their last outing so I'm taking them to stay hot at home tonight.
