The San Antonio Spursare back to shooting the ball well, as they’re knocking down 47 percent of their shots in their last five games. However, the constant injuries and lack of Kawhi Leonard continues to be an issue for the defending champs. Marco Belinelli is doubtful for this game with a groin injury.

The Charlotte Hornets have won five straight games and look to get back in the playoff race. On the season, the Hornets are averaging 96 points on 43.1 percent shooting and are allowing 98.9 points on 45.1 percent shooting. Kemba Walker is averaging 18.9 points and 5.4 assists while Gary Neal is averaging 10.5 points and 2.4 rebounds. Lance Stephenson is shooting 38.6 percent from the field and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is grabbing 6.8 rebounds. The Charlotte Hornets have found a spark offensively during this stretch, as they’re shooting 46.8 percent from the field in their last five games. During the winning streak, the Hornets are also allowing just 40.1 percent shooting. It’ll be interesting to see if this play can continue. Jannero Pargo is questionable with a groin injury.
The Spurs are 44-19-1 ATS in their last 64 vs. NBA Southeast and 61-30-1 ATS in their last 92 vs. Eastern Conference. The Hornets are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 home games and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Spurs are 1-3-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Charlotte and 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings overall.
The Hornets are on a bit of a roll and the Spurs are really struggling to play consistent ball with all of their injuries. I don't love this game but I'll take a chances with the Hornets and the points.
