The Dallas Mavericks and Denver Nuggets square off Wednesday night at the Pepsi Center.

The Dallas Mavericks have split their last four games and end a three-game road trip. On the season, the Mavericks are averaging 108.8 points on 47.5 percent shooting and are allowing 120.5 points on 45.2 percent shooting. Monta Ellis is averaging 20.6 points and 4.5 assists while Dirk Nowitzki is averaging 18.6 points and 5.9 rebounds. Chandler Parsons is shooting 44.8 percent from the field and Rajon Rondo is dishing 8.2 assists. The Dallas Mavericks continue to shoot lights out, especially from deep where they’re shooting 40.2 percent from downtown in their last five games. The Mavericks have topped 100 points in nine of their last 11 games and have won 10 of their last 14 games when doing so.

Nuggets vs. Mavericks - 1/14/15 NBA Pick, Odds, and Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

The Denver Nuggets hope to keep the ball rolling as they’ve won four straight games. On the season, the Nuggets are averaging 102.3 points on 43.8 percent shooting and are allowing 103.6 points on 44.7 percent shooting. Ty Lawson is averaging 16.7 points and 10 assists while Arron Afflalo is averaging 15.5 points and 3.5 rebounds. Wilson Chandler is shooting 41.7 percent from the field and Kenneth Faried is grabbing 8.7 rebounds. The Denver Nuggets are shooting 49.3 percent from the field in their last five games and have won five of their last eight games when topping 100 points. The Nuggets are only three games back from a .500 record and four games out of a playoff spot. Newly acquired Jameer Nelson is questionable for this game with an ankle injury.

The Mavericks are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games playing on 0 days rest and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Nuggets are 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 home games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Mavericks are 6-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Denver and 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall.

Not sure why the line is what it is but I'm not asking questions. The Mavs are head and shoulders the better team and have all of the value on this line. Look for Dallas to cruise to an easy win.
