The Minnesota Timberwolves travel to the US Airways Center to battle the Phoenix Suns tonight.
The Minnesota Timberwolves were able to snap an ugly 15-game losing streak with a 110-101 over the Pacers thanks to a career-high 52 points from Mo Williams who shot 19 of 33 from the field and 6 of 11 from the three point line. Andrew Wiggins added 20 points while Thaddeus Young added 11, but needless to say, this game was all about Williams who was simply in the zone right from tipoff. Despite the win, Minnesota are still only dead last in the Western Conference with a record of 6-31 on the season and 3-15 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns were able to put a halt to a two-game skid on Tuesday with a 107-100 win over the Cavaliers at home. Markieff Morris led the way with 35 points on 15 of 21 shooting while Goran Dragic added 18 points as the Suns shot 52.6 percent from the field to deliver the struggling Cavs another loss. Defensively, the Suns couldn't do much to stop LeBron James or JR Smith who combined for 62 points, but they did manage to keep a lid on Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving who scored just nine points each. With the win, Phoenix improves to 23-18 overall and 10-7 at home.
In ATS trends, the Wolves are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games and 0-3-1 ATS in their last four games following a win, while the Suns are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a losing record.
Head to head, the Wolves are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings overall and a perfect 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings in Phoenix.
This absolutely looks like a game the Suns should win by 20 points or more, but the last time these teams played, the Suns found themselves in a battle and were only just good enough to ecape with a 113-111 win, so I'll be taking the Wolves with the points in this one.
