The Los Angeles Lakers travel to Salt Lake City to take on the Utah Jazz tonight.
The Los Angeles Lakers have lost five of their last six and will be hoping to avoid a fourth straight loss after falling to the Cavaliers by 109-102 last night. Jordan Hill led the scoring with 20 points on 10 of 14 shooting while Kobe Bryant added 19 points and a career-high 17 assists, but it still wasn't enough as the Cavs took over in a 52-41 second half effort thanks to 36 points from LeBron James. Bryant has missed six of the last 13 games and is expected to sit out tonight's meeting with the Jazz as LA continues to rest him for second games of back to back sets.

Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz have lost four of their last five and will be looking to snap a three-game skid after getting blown away by the Warriors by 116-105 on Tuesday. Derrick Favors led six players in double figures with his 22 points, while Gordon Hayward added 17 and Rudy Gobert added 16, but while the Jazz stayed close with the Warriors in the first half, there was just no stopping the flow of points in the game defining 44-27 third quarter that sunk the Jazz. With the loss, Utah drops to 13-26 on the season and 6-12 at home where they've lost three straight.
In ATS trends, the Lakers are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six games against a team below .400 and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall, while the Jazz are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following a loss and 0-4 ATS in their last four games at home.
Head to head, the Lakers are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall and 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Utah.
You really couldn't feel too confident about putting your hard-earned money on either team this season, but surely playing at home with a couple extra days off should be enough for the Jazz to beat the Kobe-less Lakers in this one.
