The Los Angeles Clippers play host to the Brooklyn Nets tonight at the Staples Center.
Bouncing back from a seven-game losing streak, the Brooklyn Nets have now won two of their last three after sneaking past the Kings by 103-100 last night. Brook Lopez scored a team-high 22 points and six blocks off the bench while Jarrett Jack and Joe Johnson added 16 points each as the Nets took down the Kings despite monster performances from both Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins. As a team, the Nets stormed out of the gates with plenty on intensity and led by 16 points going into the half before escaping with a bit of a lucky victory, but when you're 18-24 on the season, you'll take what you can get.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers have won eight of their last 11 games overall and will be going for a third straight win after cruising past the Celtics by 102-93 on Monday. Blake Griffin once again led the way with 22 points, nine rebounds and six assists while DeAndre Jordan added 19 points, 12 rebounds and six blocks as the Clippers dominated the Celtics and led by as many as 23 points before easing off late in the game. Despite the win, LA has still lost three of their last five games at home and their three last three wins overall have been by single digits.
In ATS trends, the Nets are 5-2 ATS in their last seven road agmes and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games overall, while the Clippers are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall and 4-0 ATS in their last four games playing on two days rest.
Head to head, the Nets are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings and the Home team is 21-7 ATS in the last 28 meetings overall.
The Clippers are far and away the better team in this meeting, but I just get the feeling that the bookies are giving the Nets too many points in this one, especially because the Clippers haven't blown out an opponent for about two weeks.
