The Brooklyn Nets travel to Salt Lake City to battle the Utah Jazz tonight.
The Brooklyn Nets have been losing games left and right, but none have been as bad as their 123-84 loss to the Clippers last Thursday. I'm not even going to waste time listing any notable player stats because this game was over by halftime. The Clippers stormed out of the gates to lead by 11 points after the first quarter and 70-37 at halftime before easing off late in the game, but no amount of consolation baskets could mask what was just a horrendous night for the Nets who drop to 18-25 on the season and 10-11 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz have lost five of their last seven games but will be looking to build on their 101-99 win over the Bucks on Thursday. Enes Kanter had a monster game of 23 points and 16 rebounds, while Gordon Hayward scored a team-high 24 points, but the real difference in a tight game was the play from Dante Exum who sunk a career-high five threes en route to 15 points. With the win, Utah improves to 15-28 on the season and 8-16 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Nets are 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a loss of more than 10 points and 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games overall, while the Jazz are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games following a win and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games.
Head to head, the Nets are 3-8 ATS in the last 11 meetings overall and 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in Utah.
The Jazz have opened as minor favorites at home and should be able to make it two wins in a row after how well they played back on Thursday. This certainly isn't a hot tip by any stretch, but I'd prefer a play on the Jazz over the Nets in this meeting.
