NBA Player Updates 1/28: The Latest News from Around the League, Tonight's TV Schedule and More

We’re heading into a busy evening in the NBA, with 11 games on the schedule. While we’re getting ready for al that on-court action, let’s take our daily look at the notable players and stats from around the league.
Raptors-Pacers: It took them a while to get going, but the Raptors eventually asserted themselves over the Pacers in Indianapolis last night. DeMar DeRozan would finish with 24 points and Kyle Lowry had 19 in the 104-91 win. Five Raptors overall had double-digit finishes.
Toronto is now 30-15 and is the league’s fifth-highest-scoring team.

Cavaliers-Pistons: The Cavs kept their good vibes flowing yesterday against the Pistons, posting another win in Auburn Hills.
Following a brief injury scare for LeBron James, the Cavs finished up a 103-95 win over Detroit, never trailing in the second half.
James put up 32 points in the win, while Kyrie Irving posted 38 to match a season-high for him.
Grizzlies-Mavericks: The Grizzlies were able to keep the Mavericks’ losing streak going, posting a 109-90 win in Dallas last night. Zach Randolph put up 22 points in the victory.
Dallas was down by as many as 16 here but was able to get it to single-digits late int eh third. Chandler Parsons and Monta Ellis each had 19 points in the losing effort.
The Mavericks have now lost three in a row.
Bulls-Warriors: The Warriors’ franchise-record 19-game home winning streak is officially at an end, thanks to an overtime loss to the Bulls last night. Chicago posted a narrow 113-111 win on the strength of Derrick Rose’s jumper with seven seconds left in the extra period. He’d finish with 30 points and 11 turnovers (career-high).
Pau Gasol put up 18 points and 16 rebounds while Joakim Noah managed 18 points and 15 boards himself.
