The Philadelphia 76ers will try for a season-high third straight win tonight when they meet the Atlanta Hawks.
The Philadelphia 76ers are suddenly on a two-game win streak after their 103-94 win over the Timberwolves last night. Michael Carter-Williams led the way with a triple-double of 17 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists while Luc Richard Mbah a Moute added 18 points as the Sixers beat the Wolves for just their 10th win of the season. While the last two wins have been pretty impressive, the Sixers now embark on a short two-game road trip to meet the Hawks followed by the Cavaliers so it would be a major upset if they win either of their next two games.

Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks found themselves in a real battle against the Trailblazers last night, but a dominant fourth quarter of 36-25 saw them storm home and extend their current winning streak to 18 games. Paul Millsap led the way with 21 points, while Al Horford added 17 points but once again it was the balanced offense of having six players in double digits that really hurt the Blazers down the stretch. Last night's win snapped a streak of five straight wins by 10 points or more, but a double digit win should be on the cards tonight when they meet the Sixers.
In ATS trends, the 76ers are 9-4-1 ATS in their last 14 games playing on zero days rest and 0-3-1 ATS in their last four road games, while the Hawks are 5-0 ATS in their last five games playing on zero days rest and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games against a team with a losing record.
Head to head, the 76ers are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings but the Road team is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings overall.
It's really hard to back against the Hawks and feel too confident about it, but the bookies have given us so many points in this one which is really tempting. Personally, I'd stay well away from this line, but if I had to pick, I would rather be on the side of the Hawks than against them.
