Kevin Love meets his former team for the first time when the Cleveland Cavaliers visit the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been playing some of their best basketball lately, winning their last nine straight including a 101-90 win over the Kings just last night. LeBron James returned to the court but had just 19 poitns and seven assists but he was hardly needed as Kevin Love led the way with 23 points while Kyrie Irving had a nice game of 21 points and six assists. As a team, the Cavs did a nice job of holding the Kings to just 35.7 percent shooting and they did that by limiting DeMarcus Cousins who shot just five of 17 from the field which really thwarted the Kings for the entire game. With the win, Cleveland improved to 28-20 on the season and 17-9 at home.

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves snapped a five-game losing streak by beating the Celtics on Wednesday, but they hit rock bottom last night when they lost to the Sixers by 103-94. Kevin Martin scored a team-high 19 points off the bench but shot a miserable five of 18 from the field while Nikola Pekovic added 18 points, but the Wolves just had no answer for the Sixers' Michael Carter-Williams who led the way with a triple double. We really don't expect the Wolves to win many games with all the injuries they've had to endure, but this was definitely a chance they should have taken.

In ATS trends, the Cavs are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record, while the Wolves are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 home games and 7-21 ATS in their last 28 games playing on zero days rest.

Head to head, the Cavs are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall but the Favorite is 11-5 ATS in the last 16 meetings.
