The Boston Celtics invade Madison Square Garden to battle the New York Knicks tonight.
The Boston Celtics have now lost three straight and four of their last five after falling to the Heat by 83-75 on Sunday. Avery Bradley and Tyler Zeller led the team with 17 points each while Brandon Bass added 15, but no one else finished in double digits in scoring as the Celtics shot a miserable 37 percent from the field and 4 of 19 from the three-point line. Defensively, the Celtics didn't have to worry about Dwyane Wade who was out and Chris Bosh shot just six of 19 from the field, but there was just no way of stopping the rookie Hassan Whiteside who dominated the paint with 20 points on 10 of 17 shooting.

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks have been playing some of their best basketball of the season resulting in five wins in their last seven outings including a 92-80 win over the Lakers on Sunday. In what was a pretty sloppy game from both teams, Carmelo Anthony shone for 31 points on 13 of 25 shooting while Langston Galloway added 13 points. No other Knicks player finished in double figures, but with the Lakers shooting just 35.5 percent from the field, Anthony's production was more than enough. With the win, New York improved to 10-38 on the season and 7-17 at home.
In ATS trends, the Celtics are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall, while the Knicks are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall.
Head to head, the Celtics are 21-10 ATS in the last 31 meetings in New York and the Under is 11-3 in the last 14 meetings overall.
This certainly isn't a game I'd like to put my hard-earned money on, but I have to say that the Knicks have been playing just good enough for my pick in this one.
