The 2015 NBA All Stars look to put on a show for fans of all ages in the Big Apple on Sunday night.
The best the NBA has to offer square off at Madison Square Garden although injuries will rob the fans of some of their favorites with the West losing Blake Griffin, Kobe Bryant and Anthony Davis while the East won't have Dwayne Wade while Carmelo Anthony might be a no go. I don't really put much stock in who is starting and who is coming off the bench because all are elite or they wouldn't be in this game. I like to watch what the big names such as a LeBron James and a Stephen Curry are going to do or perhaps a Kevin Durant. Of course James Harden will draw plenty of attention as the game's leading scorer but I also like to look at guys coming off the bench and see how they perform on the big stage.

As a Philly fan I want to see what former 76er Kyle Korver does and wonder what he would be doing if he was still in a Philadelphia uniform. Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James and John Wall give the East plenty of firepower in the starting lineup while Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and James Harden give the West plenty of punch. I expect head coach Steve Kerr to give Curry plenty of minutes and the opportunity to run the show and showcase himself. The West stars have more big men but in this type of game I don't think size is a difference maker especially on the defensive end because few play defense anyway as the fans and players themselves want to see an offensive show.
I'm a bit torn on the spread here as I see no clearcut favorite so that generally means take the points, put a few bucks down for a rooting interest and relax. Having said that I think I'll take the same approach and take the over with plenty of dunks and threes by both sides coming fast, furious and in bunches. The number is obviously high but not high enough so my rooting interest will be on offense Sunday night...
