The Memphis Grizzlies invade the Staples Center to take on the Los Angeles Clippers tonight.
The Memphis Grizzlies have just been piling up the wins lately and they'll be feeling even better now that they put a halt to a two-game road skid with a 98-92 win at Portland last night. Marc Gasol led the way with 21 points, Courtney Lee added 19 while Zach Randolph and Mike Conley added 15 points each as the Grizzlies overcame a 13-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat the Blazers. With the win, Memphis improved to 40-14 on the season and 17-9 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers have bounced back from a four-game losing streak with four straight wins and are coming off a 126-99 demolition of the Kings. In Saturday's win, JJ Redick hit the ground running and scored 24 points in just 26 minutes, while DeAndre Jordan added 11 points and 15 rebounds in just 20 minutes as the Clippers blew out the Kings early and allowed their reserves to play extended minutes. Jamal Crawford ran riot late in the game and poured in 23 points and six assists off the bench but the real positive for the Clippers was Austin Rivers who poured in a game-high 28 points in garbage time. All in all, it was a dominant win for the Clippers who really made a point to share the ball with Blake Griffin out injured.
In ATS trends, the Grizzlies are 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a win, while the Clippers are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five home games.
Head to head, the Grizzlies are 8-1 ATS in the last nine meetings overall and 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Los Angeles.
The Clippers really look to be playing some confident and free-flowing basketball but I just get the feeling that they'll struggle against this Grizzlies team without their main offensive weapon. Unless the Clippers hit a bunch of threes, I don't see them being able to win what will be a tough meeting tonight.
