The Boston Celtics invade Madison Square Garden to take on the New York Knicks tonight.
The Boston Celtics have won five of their last eight games and were able to bounce back from a painful overtime loss with a 115-110 win over the Suns on Monday. Avery Bradley continued his strong form with a game-high 23 points with six steals, Brandon Bass added 18 points but in the end, it was actually the newly recruited Isaiah Thomas who won the game by scoring eight of his 21 points in the last 1:37 against his former team who traded him away just a week ago. With the win, Boston improved to 21-33 on the season, just two games out of the last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks will be looking to put a halt to their seven-game skid after they were embarrassed by the Cavaliers in a 101-83 loss on Sunday. Six players finished in double figures in scoring including Langston Galloway who had 13 points and five assists, but this game was all about the margin of loss and this one got ugly real quick. The Knicks fell behind by 36-17 after the first quarter and were mere witnesses to the high-flying Cavs who got whatever they wanted, including an impressive reverse alley-oop dunk from former Knicks player, JR Smith. It really was a tough loss to witness if you were a Knicks fan, so I have to give credit to those who continue to fill the stands and support their team.
In ATS trends, the Knicks are 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 0-3-1 ATS in their last four games overall, while the Celtics are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games and 12-4 ATS in their last 16 games overall.
Head to head, the Knicks are 9-3 ATS in the last 12 meetings in Boston and the Under is 11-4 in the last 15 meetings overall.
The line hasn't come out for this game yet, but I'm pretty sure I'll be all over the Celtics as long as the line is reasonable. The line has really jumped out to 12.5 now but I still think the Celtics are good enough to cover it with the way they've been playing.
