The Charlotte Hornets travel to the United Center to battle the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night.
The Charlotte Hornets will be looking to put a halt to their five-game skid after falling to the Mavericks by 92-81 on Sunday. Mo Williams led the team with 22 points while Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Marvin Williams added 15 points each, but the Hornets could never really find their offense against the Mavs, scoring just 35 points in the first half and failing to score more than 81 points for the third time in five games. Al Jefferson was particularly disappointing, scoring just eight points on four of 16 shooting, but he did manage to grab a season-high 17 rebounds. With the loss, Charlotte dropped to 22-32 on the season leaving them one game behind eighth-placed Brooklyn.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls have won six of their last seven games and will be looking to build on a dominant 87-71 win over the Bucks on Monday. Tony Snell led the scoring with 20 points off the bench while Nikola Mirotic added 16 points but on a rough shooting night where both teams shot below 36 percent, the Bulls were simply dominant on the boards, outrebounding the Bucks by 62-41. Derrick Rose had eight points and eight assists but shot a miserable one of 13 from the field, easily his worst shooting numbers all season.
In ATS trends, the Hornets are 7-3 ATS in the last 10 road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall, while the Bulls are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games following a win and 2-10 ATS in their last 12 games against a team with a losing record.
Head to head, the Hornets are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Chicago and the Road team is 10-2 ATS in the last 12 meetings overall.
I'll definitely be looking to make a play on the Bulls as long as the line is reasonable, so let's wait for the line to come out and check back for my free pick.
