TV:

After a slow evening last night, the NBA is back with a vengeance this evening. There are 12 games on the schedule, but before we get settled in and wait for those tip-offs, let’s check out some of the notable players and stats out there this morning.

Warriors-Wizards: Stephen Curry was back on the court last night after a one-game absence, posting a game-high 32 points in the Warriors’ 114-107 victory over the Wizards in DC. Marreese Speights managed 16 points off the bench.
The Warriors were out-rebounded 45-29, but Washington committed 26 turnovers which helped turn the tide.
Golden State has won five of the last six.

Cavs-Pistons: Kevin Love had his shot working from deep last night in Auburn Hills. He nailed eight 3-pointers on the way to 24 points. That effort helped the Cavaliers get a 102-93 road win over the Pistons.
LeBron James also notched 11 assists, which puts him in first place on the all-time NBA list among forwards for that stat, passing Scottie Pippen. James has 6,142 assists in his career.

Pacers-Thunder: The Thunder got a big night from Russell Westbrook against the Pacers in OKC last night. He put up a triple-double on 20 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists as the Thunder got a 105-92 victory.
Oklahoma city is rolling this month; they’re 9-1 in February. That puts them 2 ½ games behind San Antonio for the No. 7 playoff spot in a very competitive Western Conference.

Mavericks-Raptors: Dallas took a 99-92 victory over the Raptors last night, but what everyone is talking about this morning is the fact that Rajon Rondo was sitting on the bench after a shouting match with head coach Rick Carlisle.
The argument ensued after Carlisle got upset with Rondo for dribbling past midcourt, then called a timeout and didn’t put his PG back into the game.
