The Portland Trail Blazers look for a win after splitting their last eight games. On the season, the Trail Blazers are averaging 101.9 points on 44.2 percent shooting and are allowing 97.2 points on 43.2 percent shooting. Damian Lillard is averaging 21.4 points and 6.2 assists while Wesley Matthews is averaging 16.1 points and 3.6 rebounds. Robin Lopez is grabbing 7.2 rebounds and Arron Afflalo is shooting 33.3 percent from the field. The Portland Trail Blazers are shooting just 42.2 percent from the field in their last five games and need all hands on deck before falling any further in the standings. Afflalo should be more comfortable in the Portland system, as he was 2-6 from the field in his debut. LaMarcus Aldridge is questionable with a thumb injury.
The Spurs are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. NBA Northwest and 2-10-1 ATS in their last 13 games overall. The Trail Blazers are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 vs. NBA Southwest and 5-12 ATS in their last 17 games overall. The Spurs are 4-12 ATS in the last 16 meetings in Portland and 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall.
Not sure what's up with the Spurs, but they've been tough to back recently. Give Portland is at home and could really use a win here, I like the Trail Blazers and the small chalk. Take Portland.
