The Memphis Grizzlies travel to Minneapolis to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight.
The Memphis Grizzlies were running through opponents since the beginning of the year, but they're suddenly in a bit of a slump after losing their last two games. Last night against the Clippers, Zach Randolph led the team with 20 points and 10 rebounds but received next to no support as the only other players in double figures was Courtney Lee and Marc Gasol who scored 12 and 11 points respectively. It was really a disappointing result for the Grizzlies because the Clippers were without Blake Griffin and they had already beaten the Clippers twice this season. Despite the loss, Memphis are still a very healthy 41-16 on the season which has them currently at second in the Western Conference.

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves have lost four of their last six overall but showed plenty of fight in last night's 96-89 loss to the Bulls. Kevin Martin led the team with 18 points, Ricky Rubio added 15 points and 10 assists while Andrew Wiggins had 14 points, but while the Wolves did a great job of holding the Bulls to 38.5 percent shooting, there was just no stopping Jimmy Butler who burned them for 28 points. Ideally, we'd love to see the Wolves winning more games with the talent they have on their roster, but they've actually been playing much better than their record suggests.
In ATS trends, the Grizzlies are 7-18-2 ATS in their last 27 games against a team below .400 and 0-4 ATS in their last four games against a team with a losing record, while the Wolves are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games and 5-2 ATS in the last seven games overall.
There's no denying that the Grizzlies are clearly the better team in this one, but the Wolves haven't been too bad lately, so I'm going against the favorites and taking the Wolves with the points at home.
