Goran Dragic meets his former team as the Miami Heat host the Phoenix Suns tonight.
The Phoenix Suns have lost nine of their last 12 overall and were unable to extend a two-game win streak, falling to the Spurs in a 101-74 rout on Saturday. Marcus Morris led hte team with 19 points off the bench that's where the positives end as far as the Suns are concerned because they were down by 75-41 before the garbage points came in the final quarter. As a team, the Suns shot a season-worst 29.8 percent from the field and to add insult to injury, Brandon Knight left in the first half with a hip pointer and is listed as questionable for tonight's game. With the loss, Phoenix dropped to 31-29 on the season and 17-13 at home.

Meanwhile, the Miami Heat have won four of their last eight overall but will be looking to avoid a third straight loss after falling painfully short against the Hawks, losing by 93-91 despite the Hawks sitting four key players. Dwyane Wade had a nice game of 22 points while Hassan Whiteside added 14 points and 24 rebounds, but once again Goran Dragic failed to impress, scoring just six points on two of seven shooting. With the loss, Miami fall to 25-33 on the season which leaves them just half a game clear of Indiana who currently hold the eighth seed in the playoff race.
Looking at ATS trends, the Suns are 16-5-1 ATS in their last 22 games following a loss of more than 10 points and 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine road games, while the Heat are 5-15-3 ATS in their last 23 home games and 0-3-2 ATS in their last six games overall.
Head to head, the Suns are 7-19 ATS in the last 26 meetings and 3-10 ATS in the last 13 meetings in Miami.
I'm definitely looking forward to this game simply because of Dragic playing against his former team and I think the Heat will be good enough to get it done in front of their home crowd tonight.
