The Los Angeles Clippers travel to the Target Center to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight.
The Los Angeles Clippers have won six of their last eight overall and will be looking to build on a two-game win streak after beating the Bulls by 96-86 last night. Chris Paul ran the show with 28 points and 12 assists, Jamal Crawford added 16 points off the bench while DeAndre Jordan added nine points and 26 rebounds as the Clippers battled with the Bulls in a tight contest before pulling away with a 27-17 fourth quarter. With Blake Griffin still out, the Clippers are doing everything they can to keep winning games and they can attribute a lot of their success to Jordan who has just been on a tear, grabbing at least 15 rebounds in his last eight games while blocking or altering shots like a man on a mission.

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves have lost five of their last seven games overall and will be looking to avoid a third straight loss after falling painfully short against the Grizzlies, losing by 101-97 on Saturday. Andrew Wiggins led the team with 25 points, Ricky Rubio added 13 points and 10 assists while Gary Neal added 16 points off the bench, but Wolves allowed the Grizzlies to shoot a sizzling 59.4 percent to their 38.6 percent. The only saving grace was that the Wolves forced 24 turnovers and grabbed 16 offensive boards to keep the game close from start to finish.
Looking at ATS trends, the Clippers are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall and 5-13 ATS in their last 18 road games, while the Wolves are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games against the Western Conference.
Head to head, the Clippers are 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings overall and a dominant 10-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Minnesota.
The Clippers have opened as five-point favorites but the line has dropped to 4.5 with the early money going towards the Wolves, but I'm sticking with the Clippers to stay hot and keep their winning momentum.
