The Portland Trailblazers fly into Staples Center to take on the Los Angeles Clippers tonight.
The Portland Trailblazers will be looking to extend their current win streak to four games tonight after making light work of the Kings in a 110-99 win on Sunday. Damian Lillard led from the front with 31 points and seven assists, LaMarcus Aldridge added 26 points and 15 rebounds and Wesley Matthews added 17 points as the Blazers blew out to a 64-50 lead at halftime before cruising in the second half. The Kings were without two of their best players in DeMarcus Cousins and Darren Collison, but the Blazers were so hot in the first half, that I'm sure they would have won easily anyway. With the win, Portland improved to 39-19 on the season which leaves them just half a game ahead of the fifth-placed Clippers.

Speaking of the Los Angeles Clippers, they've been in red-hot form themselves with seven wins in their last nine outings including three on the trot after beating the Timberwolves by 110-105 on Monday. Chris Paul led from the front with 26 points and 14 assists, DeAndre Jordan added 12 points and 18 rebounds while JJ Redick had 18 points as the Clippers outlasted the Wolves in a see-saw affair. With the Wolves sitting at just 13-46 on the season, you'd expect the Clippers to win by double digits, but they really had to work hard against the young Wolves. Defensively, the Clippers were average for most of the game until the last 10 minutes where they didn't allow a single field goal.
In ATS trends, the Blazers are 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a win of more than 10 points, while the Clippers are 5-2 ATS in their last seven against a team above .600 and 5-1 ATS in their last six after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game.
Head to head, the road team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall and the over is 4-1 in the last five.
You really can't split these two teams but I'm going to stick with the home team Clippers who have been in great form lately.
