The Chicago Bulls play host to the surging Oklahoma City Thunder tonight at the United Center.
The Chicago Bulls have won eight of their last 11 games overall and are coming off a 97-92 win over the Wizards thanks to a balanced scoring effort. Aaron Brooks led the way with 22 points and eight assists while Pau Gasol added an efficient 20 points on eight of 11 shooting, but what put the Bulls over the top was the play of Nikola Mirotic who scored a team-high 23 points in extended minutes off the bench. Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler and Taj Gibson have all missed some court time in recent games, but that hasn't stopped the Bulls from improving to 4-2 on their season-high seven-game homestand that ends tonight.

Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder have won 11 of their last 14 games and continued to climb the standings with a hard-fought 123-118 overtime win over the 76ers last night. Dion Waiters had a strong game of 20 points and 10 rebounds off the bench while DJ Augustin added 17 points, but all eyes were on Russell Westbrook who delivered with his fourth consecutive triple-double, pouring in a career-high 49 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists. In all honesty, the Thunder should have done a better job of putting the 76ers away in regular time, but a combined 60 points from the 76ers' Isaiah Canaan and Jason Richardson pushed the Thunder to overtime.
In ATS trends, the Thunder are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games and 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games overall, while the Bulls are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games against a team with a winning record and 5-13 ATS in their last 18 games following a win.
Head to head, the Thunder are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall and 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Chicago.
My first instinct is to take the Thunder in this one because I just don't want to go against Westbrook, but I just get the feeling that the Bulls will come out on top in this one, especially after playing their last six at home.
