The Sacramento Kings and Orlando Magic square off Friday night at the Amway Center.
The Sacramento Kings have lost four of their last six games and continue their long road trip. On the season, the Kings are averaging 100.3 points on 45 percent shooting and are allowing 104.3 points on 45 percent shooting. DeMarcus Cousins is averaging 23.4 points and 12 rebounds while Rudy Gay is averaging 20 points and 3.8 assists. Ben McLemore is shooting 43.8 percent and Omri Casspi is grabbing 3.7 rebounds. The Sacramento Kings continue to go through the motions with George Karl as head coach. The bright spot for the Kings is that they’re shooting 39 percent from deep in their last five games. The low point is that the Kings are just 8-19 SU on the road this season.
USA TODAY Sports
The Orlando Magic look for a win after losing six of their last 10 games. On the season, the Magic are averaging 95.4 points on 45.5 percent shooting and are allowing 101.1 points on 46.5 percent shooting. Nikola Vucevic is averaging 19.7 points and 11.2 rebounds while Victor Oladipo is averaging 17.2 points and 3.8 assists. Tobias Harris is grabbing 6.4 rebounds and Elfrid Payton is dishing 5.8 assists. The Orlando Magic continue to play hard at both ends of the court and are showing promise entering next season. However, the Magic must improve at home, as they’re just 9-21 SU in front of their fans. Evan Fournier and Luke Ridnour are questionable with injuries.
The Kings are 4-12 ATS in their last 16 road games and 11-24-2 ATS in their last 37 games overall. The Magic are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. Western Conference and 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. loss. The Kings are 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings.
Both teams are playing hard at the moment in hopes of building something heading into next season. The Magic have been horrible on their home court, but I like them to come out on top in this matchup.
