The Memphis Grizzlies play host to the Los Angeles Lakers tonight at the FedEx Forum.
The Los Angeles Lakers will be looking to put an end to a three-game slide tonight after falling to the Heat by 100-94 on Wednesday. Seven players finished in double figures with Wayne Ellington and Ed Davis scored 14 points each while Jeremy Lin added 12 points and nine assists, but while the Lakers did well to take a five-point lead going into halftime, they just had no answer for Dwyane Wade and Hassan Whiteside who took over the game in the second half and sent the Lakers to their third straight loss by single digits. With the loss, Los Angeles falls to 16-44 overall and 7-24 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have been playing some inconsistent basketball lately, but they'll be in high spirits after taking down the Rockets by 102-100 in a nail-biter on Wednesday. Mike Conley had a strong outing of 17 points and six assists while Zach Randolph added 15 points and six assists, but with the game on the line, the Grizzlies turned to Marc Gasol who finished with 21 points on 10 of 14 shooting including a running jumper at the last second to give the Grizzlies the win and improve to 43-17 overall and 20-10 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Lakers are 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall but just 1-9-1 ATS in their last 11 games against the Western Conference, while the Grizzlies are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall and 1-5 ATS in their last six games following a win.
Head to head, the Lakers are 5-0-3 ATS in the last eight meetings overall and 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings in Memphis.
The Grizzlies really should have no problem beating the Lakers by double digits in this one, but having said that, the Grizzlies have met the Lakers three times already this season and have yet to beat them by more than six points so I'm taking LA with the points here.
