The Atlanta Hawks look to stay hot tonight when they take on the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Atlanta Hawks have now won six straight and will be absolutely over the moon after taking down the Cavaliers by 106-97 last night in marquee matchup. Al Horford led the way with 19 points, nine rebounds and six assists while Paul Millsap and Jeff Teague added 16 points each, but it was truly a team effort as just about every player who stepped on the court either scored points or made some big play down the stretch. Defensively, the Hawks seemed to fade in and out of the game but they were able to lock down the Cavs when it really mattered, holding them to just 18 points in the fourth quarter and LeBron James to just 18 points and a season-high nine turnovers.

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers will be keen to snap a four-game losing streak after falling to the Jazz by 89-83 last night. In an ugly shooting night, Isaiah Canaan continued his hot shooting and led the way with 16 points with four three pointers while Luc Richard Mbah a Moute and Ish Smith added 14 points each, but the Sixers needed Jason Richardson to have another big game and he failed miserable, missing all of his 10 shot attempts to finish scoreless. To their credit, the Sixers were right in the game from start to finish, but a 23-13 third quarter really hurt them heading into the fourth quarter. Philadelphia has now lost nine of their last 10 games and four of their last five at home.
In ATS trends, the Hawks are 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight games playing on zero days rest and 20-6-1 ATS in their last 27 road games, while the 76ers are 7-2 ATS in their last nine home games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record.
Head to head, the Hawks are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings overall and 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Philadelphia.
There's a real danger that the Hawks might choose to rest a few key players for this game, but I'm confident the Hawks can cover the spread if they at least play a few key players.
