The Los Angeles Clippers invade the Chesapeake Energy Arena to battle the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday.
The Los Angeles Clippers have won four of their last six and were able to avoid a third straight loss by cruising past the Timberwolves by 89-76 on Monday. Chris Paul scored just two points but made 15 assists while JJ Redick scored 26 points on 10 of 19 shooting and DeAndre Jordan added 20 points and 17 rebounds while shooting 10 of 11 as the Clippers committed defensively and held the Wolves to their second lowest point total of the season. The Wolves aren't exactly world beaters so it wasn't a major accomplishment by any means, but the Clippers really needed this win to get things back on track after consecutive tough losses.

Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder have won three of their last four and will be feeling pretty good after taking down the Raptors by 108-104 on Sunday. Russell Westbrook had yet another triple-double, this time racking up 30 points, 11 rebounds and 17 assists and he also had plenty of support as Serge Ibaka and Enes Kanter both had 21 points. Defensively, the Thunder were poor in the first half and allowed the Raptors to pour in 61 points, but they refocused and held them to just 43 points in the second half while outrebounding them by 49-33. With the win, OKC improved to 35-28 and remained in the eighth spot in the Western standings.
In ATS trends, the Clippers are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games against a team with a winning home record and 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games playing on one days rest, while the Thunder are 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games and 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games overall.
Head to head, the Clippers are 15-7 ATS in the last 22 meetings in Oklahoma City but just 1-6 ATS in the last seven meetings overall.
The Clippers will be desperate to cause the minor upset here and escape with a win, but the Thunder are coming into this game well-rested and should be too good with Westbrook probably getting another triple-double.
