The Sacramento Kings travel to the nation's capital to take on the Washington Wizards tonight.
The Sacramento Kings have lost five of their last six overall and hit a new low last night when they fell to the 76ers by 114-107 after leading by as many as 18 points. DeMarcus Cousins had a monster game of 39 points and 24 rebounds, Rudy Gay added 24 points and Derrick Williams added 15, but it still wasn't enough as the Kings never quite woke up from their halftime nap and got absolutely dominated in a game-changing 37-18 third quarter. With the loss, Sacramento dropped to 22-42 overall and and 2-5 on their current eight-game road trip that ends at Washington tonight.

Speaking of Washington, the Wizards have won four of their last six overall and will be going for a third straight win after making light work of the shorthanded Grizzlies in a 107-87 rout on Thursday. John Wall took exception to the fact that the Grizzlies chose to rest three of their best players and he expressed his emotions with 21 points, seven rebounds and six assists on eight of 11 shooting while Marcin Gortat added 22 points on 10 of 16 shooting. It's hard to gauge how much good that win would have done for the Wizards because the Grizzlies basically sent in their reserves, but the win does lift Washington to 37-28 on the season and 23-10 at home.
In ATS trends, the Kings are 1-4 ATS in their last five road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall, while hte Wizards are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 games overall and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games.
Head to head, the Kings are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings overall and the Under is 5-2 in the last seven in Washington.
Plain and simple, I just can't feel good about backing any team coming off a loss to the 76ers, so for me, it's the in-form Wizards to win and cover at home for sure.
