The Philadelphia 76ers invade the TD Garden to battle the Boston Celtics on Monday night.
The Boston Celtics have won six of their last seven and will be looking to stay hot with a fifth win tonight after beating the Pacers by 93-89 on Saturday. In a balanced scoring attack, Tyler Zeller led the scoring with 18 points on eight of 10 shooting while Brandon Bass, Avery Bradley and Jae Crowder all chipped in with 16 points each as the Celtics took control of the game early and held off the Pacers for an impressive win. Defensively, the Celtics could do little to stop George Hill who poured on 30 points on 11 of 18 shooting, but they were good enough to hold the rest of the team to just 34.3 percent shooting from the field. With the win, Boston improved to 29-36 which keeps them right in the mix for the last two playoff spots in the Eastern Conference.

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have won two of their last four and were coming off an impressive comeback over the Kings before they lost to the Nets by 94-87 on Saturday. Nerlens Noel led the team in scoring with a nice game of 17 points on seven of 10 shooting while Isaiah Canaan added 13 points, but while the Sixers played well in the first half, the Nets turned it on in a 23-10 third quarter and put the Sixers away. As a team, the Sixers shot just 37.2 percent from the field and it was mainly because they were forced into too many three-point shots where they made just eight of 37. With the loss, Philadelphia drops to 15-51 on the season and 10-24 at home.
In ATS trends, the 76ers are 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a loss and 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games playing on one days rest, while the Celtics are 9-1-1 ATS in their last 11 home games and 20-6-1 ATS in their last 27 games overall.
Head to head, the road team is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings and the over is 4-1 in the last five meetings in Boston.
The Sixers have been playing a little better than their season record suggests but this just looks like a perfect spot for the Celtics to stay hot with a double digit win at home.
