The Orlando Magic ride into the Toyota Center to battle the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night.
The Orlando Magic will be looking to snap a four-game skid tonight after getting routed by the Cavaliers by 123-108 on Sunday. Victor Oladipo had a big game of 25 points, Tobias Harris added 24 points while Nikola Vucevic had 22 points and 15 rebounds, but it was nowhere near enough to keep up with the Cavaliers who shot a blistering 59.2 percent from the field. There was just no way of stopping the trio of LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and JR Smith who combined for 79 points and that's nothing to be ashamed of as the Cavs have simply been on fire lately.

Meanwhile, the Houston Rockets have won three of their last five and will be looking to build on an impressive 100-98 win over the Clippers on Sunday. As usual, James Harden led the way with a big night of 34 points, seven rebounds and seven assists while Trevor Ariza added 19 points and Terrence Jones added 16, but the Rockets shot just 37.2 percent from the field as a team. What really kept the scoreboard ticking over was the Rockets' intent on getting to the line and nobody does that better than Harden who made 17 of 18 free throw attempts. With the win, Houston improves to 44-22 overall which has them just one game out of a top three spot and two games out of a top two spot in the Western Conference standings.
In ATS trends, the Magic are 19-9 ATS in their last 28 games against a team with a winning record and 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a double digit loss at home, while the Rockets are 13-4 ATS in their last 17 home games and 14-5 ATS in their last 19 games against a team with a losing record.
Head to head, the Magic are 9-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall and 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings in Houston.
Coming off such a marquee victory, there's always a chance that the Rockets could be due for a letdown performance, but it's getting down to the business end of the regular season so I'm expecting nothing but a win for the home team here. With that being said, I actually think the Magic will be good enough to keep this score respectable and cover the spread in this one.
