The Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets square off Friday night at the Barclays Center.
The Milwaukee Bucks hope to snap a four-game losing streak. On the season, the Bucks are averaging 97.5 points on 45.8 percent shooting and are allowing 96.9 points on 43.4 percent shooting. Michael Carter-Williams is averaging 13.7 points and 5.7 assists while Khris Middleton is averaging 12.8 points and 4.4 rebounds. Ersan Ilyasova is grabbing 4.5 rebounds and Jerryd Bayless is dishing 3.1 assists. The Milwaukee Bucks are shooting just 42.9 percent from the field in their last five games and are in danger of falling out of the sixth spot in the East. The Bucks may be starting to prove that they’re frauds, and it doesn’t help that they’ve lost nine straight road games. Jared Dudley and O.J. Mayo are questionable with injuries.

The Brooklyn Nets need a win after losing six of their last eight games. On the season, the Nets are averaging 96.6 points on 44.9 percent shooting and are allowing 100.2 points on 45.3 percent shooting. Brook Lopez is averaging 15.3 points and 6.9 rebounds while Joe Johnson is averaging 14.9 points and 3.4 assists. Thaddeus Young is grabbing 4.8 rebounds and Deron Williams is dishing 6.1 assists. The Brooklyn Nets are allowing 47 percent shooting in their last five games and have lost 13 of their last 17 games when allowing 100-plus points. The Nets need this game if they have any chance of getting back into the playoff race. The Nets have lost four straight on their home court.
The Bucks are 10-3-1 ATS in their last 14 vs. NBA Atlantic and 6-14 ATS in their last 20 games overall. The Nets are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Bucks are 9-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Brooklyn and 16-5 ATS in the last 21 meetings overall.
I don't trust the Bucks at all with what they've shown over the last couple of weeks. The Nets aren't much better, but they're at home and need this game if they're going to get back in the playoff race. Take Brooklyn to cover.
