The Houston Rockets pay a visit to the Indiana Pacers on Monday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The Houston Rockets have won five of their last eight and were going for a fourth straight win on Saturday before getting routed by the Suns in a 117-102 defeat. Donatas Motiejunas led the team with 18 points, while Josh Smith added 17, but James Harden clearly wasn't himself as he shot just five of 19 for his 16 points. Defensively, the Rockets just weren't switched on as a team as they allowed the Suns to score 62 points in the first half and 99 points after three quarters. With the loss, Houston drops to 46-23 on the season and 26-10 at home.

Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers have lost five straight and are coming off a disappointing 123-111 loss to the Nets at home. George Hill led the team with 18 points and nine assists while Solomon Hill and Luis Scola added 17 points each, but the Pacers just weren't getting any stops on the defensive end, allowing the Nets to shoot a sizzling 61.3 percent from the field while sending them to the charity stripe 31 times. Given that the Pacers are ranked third in the league in points allowed, it's quite strange to see them struggling defensively so they better turn things around quick as they're now 30-39 on the season and are in real danger of falling out of playoff contention.
In ATS trends, the Rockets are 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a double digit loss at home and 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games against a team with a losing record, while the Pacers are 5-1 ATS in their last six against a team above .600 and 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall.
Head to head, the Rockets are 5-11 ATS in the last 16 meetings overall and just 1-7 ATS in the last eight meetings in Indiana.
The Rockets will be looking to get back on track with a road win tonight, but the Pacers will want to stay in the playoff race so I'm expecting them to continue their strong form at home and win this one by single digits.
